Jo Kite

I work in marketing because I find it exciting. I thrive on the creative process of bringing a product to life with imagery and words, and defining the audience who will love it. I enjoy seeing new marketing trends emerge and deciding which ones are right for a marketing strategy, and working out how to stand out when social media has changed the advertising landscape so radically.  I love getting under the skin of all the Ps (product, price, place and promotion) to create the best marketing plan possible.
 

I feel lucky to have worked in marketing the whole of my career, which now spans over twenty years, and my experience in beauty, eCommerce and book publishing means I can bring a varied outlook and background to marketing strategies and projects.
 

I set up kiteworks to create a change in my working life that gave me more time to think, create and connect, to use my marketing experience to meet new people and work on fresh creative projects.
 

I am energised by people, being active and being outdoors, and am lucky to live in a stunning area, in Lewes, East Sussex. In my spare time, I bike ride on the South Downs and run, mostly just chasing after my kids. I am on the fundraising committee for my children's school, and as part of this I run the marketing for the Lewes Artists & Makers Fair each year, a professional event which raises over £20,000 profit for the school.
